I am not sure why this restaurant is rated below 4 on Google. It’s surely above 4.5. I recently visited the restaurant with my family for the dinner. Had dal makhni, Nizami Handi, garlic naan and tandoori roti. I can vouch for the chef, all of the items were beyond my expectations.
My partner and I really enjoy Jewel of India! The curries are fantastic and the service is superb. We ordered their menu special "Dinner for 2" which is a perfect amount of food with some good leftovers for the next day. $55.90! This was our second time and we are just as happy the first time we went. We ordered it for takeaway and it was packed very well- even wrap over the curries in case of any potential leak! Very appreciated Cannot fault this place. Highly recommend
My wife and I had our wedding anniversary dinner there and thoroughly enjoyed our two person banquet. We had a gift voucher and didn't realise until later that there was an error in the credit card charge. Once I brought it to the attention of the manager, he fixed and I really appreciated his prompt resolution - very honest people and great food.
Had a lovely night here with my family. Food was excellent - the garlic naan was slathered in butter and it was so good. The butter chicken, palak paneer and du murgh had the right blend of spices. Service was friendly and quick. We will be back!

Amazing food and excellent service! The non-veg platter was packed with flavour and perfectly cooked, and the biryani was absolutely delicious, aromatic, rich, and cooked to perfection. Every dish felt fresh and well-prepared. Overall, a wonderful dining experience. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were lovely and were very attentive about their service and our dining experience. Good selection of choices for dishes. It was overall a pleasant experience, very enjoyable food.
We are from Melbourne , but this is our go to and favourite place when we come to Canberra. Great hospitality and service. Amazing Indian food served everytime, the chef here is brilliant cook, and very friendly. Highly recommend this place!
